Cross-channel evidence

Make the same product resolve to the same current record.

A manufacturer and distributor may use different internal identifiers. Buyers still need one clear relationship between the product, source documents, lifecycle state, and next action.

Request a Spec Audit

Reconcile six parts of the public record.

Identity

Legal manufacturer, brand, family, model, variant, MPN, distributor SKU, GTIN.

Classification

Category, application, MasterFormat/OmniClass/ETIM or other relevant convention—never presented as regulation.

Documents

Type, title, source, revision, effective date, expiration, successor, market, and jurisdiction.

Lifecycle

Active, discontinued, superseded, restricted, regional, replacement, or unknown.

Synchronization

Source system, owner, last sync, exception state, correction route, and next review.

Action

Branch, territory, representative, availability context, account, quote, and document request.

Resolve exceptions instead of hiding them.

A missing GTIN, regional SKU, superseded document, private-label relationship, or uncertain replacement may be legitimate. Label the state, identify the owner, and route the correction. Do not invent a clean relationship that the sources cannot support.

Use this resource from either side of the channel.

Manufacturer

Check whether approved product identity, documents, claims, and lifecycle changes reach distributor destinations consistently.

Manufacturer solution

Distributor

Check whether catalog records resolve to authoritative manufacturer sources and useful branch or quote actions.

Distributor solution

Audit one manufacturer-to-distributor category path.

Name the category, the source conflict, and the buyer action that should follow.
